For a second year in a row the Transit Enforcement Unit jumped on board with the Toronto Police Service thanks to TFI Team Lead Chad Minter. Members will proudly be wearing pink epaulets in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF). Members wearing the epaulets donated $20 to receive a pair of the pink epaulets which will be worn for the entire month of October.
The initiative was setup by TPS Court Officer Arthur Hanton and was fully endorsed by TPS Chief Mark Saunders and Chief Special Constable Mark Cousins. The pink epaulets initiative has been adopted by other City of Toronto agencies as well.
